Inviting someone for a visit

If you need to complete a legalised letter of obligation (Verpflichtungserklärung), you need to go to your local Ausländerbehörde or Bürgerbüro to get the form and pay for it. You can send an email copy to the person you invite, the embassy (according to many members) will accept an email copy.
